Founded on the belief that the mixed-breed Desert Dog shares striking similarities in appearance, temperament and behavior, the Khaleej Kennel Club was created to celebrate and showcase this beloved regional breed.

Every canine deserves the spotlight. With the rapid rise in popularity of this wonderful, energetic mixed-breed, we aim to create a warm, inclusive community where every Khaleeji dog and every family feels at home.

Our mission is simple yet ambitious:

• Celebrate diversity in the ring – Every Khaleeji dog is invited to shine at our professionally managed shows.

• Raise the standard of canine sport across the nation – In partnership with the Emirates Kennel Club, the UAE’s leading dog show and event organizers, we aspire to deliver world-class competitions that highlight the special bond between handler and hound.

• Build family-friendly events – From junior-handler classes to “Best Rescue” parades, our shows are designed as full-day festivals where children, parents, and pets can learn, play, and compete together.

• Promote responsible ownership across the GCC – By establishing clear show rules, encouraging health testing, and offering training workshops, KKC hopes to inspire a positive ripple effect that elevates canine welfare far beyond the UAE.

At Khaleeji Kennel Club, every show doubles as an “Adopt, Don’t Shop” showcase: rescue organizations host adoption corners, recently-rehomed dogs compete for the best of the Khaleeji Dog classes, and our ring announcers highlight success stories that prove a shelter pup can shine as brightly as any pedigree.
